During Operation Frog Elodie served as one of the two relatively unknown photographers brought along as the Cover Story. Elodie is also a partial conversion cyborg who used to compete in an amateur augmented kick boxing league in her home town of Perpignan near the French/Spanish border. Her brilliant eye for fine detail and her skill with turn-of-the century digital devices drew her to the job. And even though she understood that she was only there as the cover story for the survey team, her intent was to make the most of her stay, taking thousands of photos of the indigenous landscape.

As things progressed and it became clear that something other than a simple survey was under way, Elodie became increasingly suspicious of her companion, Isaac. Toward the end of day 4? 5?, when the shit hit the fan and rocket-boosted mechs sailed across the sky, Elodie took it upon herself to set things right. Suspecting an assassination of the remainder of the team, she braved a burst of gunfire from Isaac to get inside his reach. Being mostly machine she weathered the gunfire quite well and then proceeded to disarm him and beat him senseless.

With a little coaxing, Elodie was calmed down and escorted back to the French base. After returning to France, she resigned her position with Eramete and immediately sought employment with Solfeggio, dropping the team leader’s name in her reference letter in the hopes it would get her hired. Time will tell if she has the skill and the drive to remain a part of the team…
